Gross Movement

My Students

I love my students because they are all very unique. They are all in Special Education and they are all loving to others. During this difficult time, they are good about wearing masks, probably better than adults. My students are at an age where they love school and like most things about it!

My Project

It is difficult at times to get outside for gross motor exercise. These items will give us gross motor activities inside especially in the winter. We will be able to work on teamwork, getting our nervous energy out, and help my students learn about safety signs.

My ECSE students have some troubles with feelings and being able to express those feelings.

When my students get upset, giving them an outlet to move safely is important to teach them productive ways to express themselves. Jumping and moving are great outlets!
