My Project

Hi! I am a physical therapist for the WC School District, and I serve students aged 3-22 with disabilities on IEPs and 504s. The items on my list will help promote independent mobility, balance, coordination, and ball and other gross motor skills. These skills are integral for my students to get around and access their school and participate in gross motor play with their peers. It is so meaningful to see one of my students participate and play with their age-matched peers in a meaningful way during motor tasks. I have never been given the opportunity to purchase supplies for my students, so I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I know the addition of these therapeutic toys will help motivate my students and get them moving and grooving all around their school environment while having fun!
