My Students

My students are eager to get started reading their new books from the classroom. However, the problem has arisen, "Where do we put our books to keep them together and clean??" In order to keep the books nice and neat, we need the See & Storage bags for our treasures.

My students come from a wide variety of socioeconomic homes.

I want to introduce the world to all of them by building great readers. They can travel the world as long as they can read a book. Storing these books in a clear, plastic, clean bag will give the reader a place to keep all of their books together in one place. Our school is in a low socioeconomic population that loves their children and provides multi-leveled books for them to read over and over. Having a personal bag to store their books will give the students a sense of ownership and pride as they read the books in their bag.

My Project

Each student will have his/her own bag to keep the Guided Reading books in for easy access. They will use the bags during Guided Reading time and Silent Reading time. The bags will be kept in their cubbies so anytime they have a moment and would like to read, they can get their bag out of their cubby, I want the students to learn how to take care of books. Books are priceless and should be handled with love.

By funding this project, my students will begin to practice the skill of keeping everything organized and clean.

This will help students become more organized and thoughtful about their books. The bags will definitely be sturdier and more pleasant to look at than the Zip-loc bag.
