This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an amazing group of third graders who are full of energy, curiosity, and a growing sense of independence. At this stage, my students are building critical skills—not just in reading, writing, and math—but also in organization, responsibility, and fine motor development. The dry erase markers and magnetic holder will be used during whole-group and small-group lessons, as well as independent practice.

These tools allow students to actively engage in their learning by solving math problems, writing responses, and participating in interactive activities in a fun, mess-free way.

The lamination sheets will help me create reusable learning materials like center games, vocabulary cards, and math manipulatives that can last all year long. This not only saves time and resources but also gives students consistent access to helpful tools. Many of my third graders are still refining their handwriting and pencil grip. The pencil grips will support them in holding their pencils correctly, building endurance for writing tasks. Pencil boxes will help keep their materials organized and reduce lost learning time by ensuring everyone has what they need at their fingertips.

These simple supplies will go a long way in helping my students stay focused, organized, and engaged in their learning. Thank you for helping support our third grade classroom!
