Grid Drawing 2nd-5th

Help me give my students the supplies needed to create a grid drawing. This project has integrates math skills in their art making process. It also provides a great way for the art students to practice value.

My Project

This project will allow students to practice a variety of skills. Using a ruler and creating a grid. Label g the grid and following the grid on their drawing paper to make a picture with the correct proportions. I have done this project in the past and it is always a favorite because the kids are so surprised at the outcome. It boosts their confidence and they are eager to have their artwork hung on the gallery walls! These supplies are used every year and need to be replaced yearly, so if this project is funded the kids and the teacher will be so grateful!
