Help me give my students an easy way to journal daily in the classroom. Students will be required to write a daily affirmation, gratitude, and positive thoughts based on a writing prompt.

My Students

My students attend a small district that stands behind traditions and a small community that comes together in good times and bad. They don't get the benefits of bigger schools like a variety of electives. They also don't get the technology other districts have because the funding just isn't there. Although they lack the benefits of bigger schools, they understand how there are no excuses once they leave here and continue their education. They fight hard in class, in their sports, and all extracurricular activities. These students are special to me because they never stop believing they are the best and nothing will get in their way.

My Project

Years ago, I learned the power of positivity. Teaching the students to have daily affirmations, being grateful, and how to take every situation and turn it into a positive has made a huge difference in my students attitudes and outlook on life. The notebooks will give them a place to keep their private thoughts, and each student will see equality in the assignment. On top of that, writing is extremely important and this makes writing less intimidating. Being in the "Green Zone' means always having a positive attitude. Thank you for helping make this project a success.
