My Students

My middle school is in a rural area in Virginia.

There are just over 1000 enrolled in grades 6 through 8. Over 50% of our student body participates in the free and reduced-price lunch program. The students especially enjoy learning with hands-on activities. This project will help to continue to set up our innovation lab making it an inviting location. Students will be eager to visit and explore their creativity in this new space!

My Project

These items will be used to create a green screen area for our middle school students to create fabulous projects. They will have the opportunity to practice interviewing skills, public speaking skills and much more as they use these items.

How fun to give a history project using green screen where you can make your report come alive.

In a world where students text their friends and send emails, speaking is becoming a lost art. This project will help to bring that back and make it fun for students to record themselves using these items. Thank you for helping!
