Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are elementary aged English Language Learners, who ask questions all day long! They are hungry to learn and are excited to share their learning with each other.

We are a Title I, highest poverty school, so many of our students do not have access to educational resources in their homes.

However, what they don't have in money, they make up for in a love of learning and a desire to build each other up. Help me level the playing field for these precious students.

My Project

One good thing that came from the remote learning that became necessary this year, is that my eyes have been opened to the amount of rich digital resources available to us as educators.

I am surprised and amazed to see how my students come alive when they are able to tell and show us what they think, what they know, and what they have learned; digitally on screen.

Please help me to keep the momentum going by giving my students some simple resources that will keep their creativity and learning, growing and going when we get back into the classroom.
