Greater the Diversity, Greater the Perfection -Diverse Books Part 3
Help me give my students diverse books for our library that reflect our community and the world around us. We also need a restock of cleaning supplies for next semester.

My Students
My students walk into our school library with excitement in their eyes. They can't wait to be able to let their imagination go wild in the library Makerspace. You can see students taking apart and putting together computers, designing 3-D models, constructing structures, learning about circuitry, or playing board games. You will also see students curled up in the corner reading a book or asking me for a new book for them to read. It always puts a smile on my face when they come back to me, after reading a book, to tell me how much they loved a book.
The library has become a safe place, where my students have an opportunity to experience things that they can't access otherwise because of their socioeconomic background, and one of the best parts about my school is that we have such a diverse background of students.
This project will provide our school library with several new books from a variety of genres and books that focus on diversity.
My Project
A great book can take you on a world of adventures, and at the same time, it can empower you to be a better you. Every person should be able to walk into a library and find books that have characters that reflect who they are and the community around them. I might not be able to take my students to all of the places around the world, but I can bring the world and all of its great diversity to them through a book. This is what makes a library such a powerful place.
Books can take you away to magical places or off to whole new worlds that you wouldn't get to experience otherwise.
They can also help show you that you are unique and matter, that you have a voice, and it is important. They can show you that even if you have struggles, others are going through similar things, and you are not alone.
This project will provide us with several library books that feature diversity. Thank you for helping them to be able to see themselves in the books that they read. I hope that they learn to embrace their differences and help make a difference and make the world a better place. This project will also help us restock our cleaning supplies for next semester to help keep our library clean and safe for my students.
