Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the life blood of my school. They come from an urban district and bring various backgrounds. They are a diverse group of students that bring many cultures and languages that enrich the school and community. We have a wide range of interests and experiences.
The students in my district have as much potential as any other student.
My students have a wide variety of talents. Tapping into their talents and interest brings the learning to life for them. They are an incredible group of kids.
My Project
Currently I have a very old apple laptop. Unfortunately with today's constant on-line learning, it has exposed the deficiencies of my computer that can no longer update for newer programs and resources. I need greater access to all of these resources. A new apple laptop that is more suited for today's programs and resources will help me best serve my students. I have been an "apple" person and I am more comfortable in their universe. It will also allow me to transfer documents to the new computer work more smoothly.
