I have eight amazing groups of students that range from first grade to third grade. My students struggle with early reading and writing skills.
I have chosen these materials in order to provide engaging and interesting lessons for my students.
Since many of my students struggle to read and write they are not always excited or motivated during literacy and word work time. Using colorful pens, stickers, and magnet boards will allow them the opportunity to use unique materials to write that they wouldn't normally in their home classroom. The sticky notes and notepads will be available for them to write new words we are making during our word work time. We will use highlighters and pens to emphasize skill words in our decodable folders each week.
My number one priority is to get my students engaged and excited about learning and I know these materials will help to do that!
