This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

School supplies are essential to a school classroom and student learning. Thinking ahead as we are about to enter a new school year, I would like to support my students' everyday learning with new and fresh school supplies. Many of my students begin the school year with no school supplies and need pencils, colored pencils, and cleaning supplies to keep our class healthy and clean.

It can be difficult for students who cannot come to school with new supplies like their peers.

Many families cannot afford school supplies. These supplies, books, clipboards, pencil sharpeners, paper, and homework folders will help ease the burden on my students' families by helping to provide school supplies for our classroom. I want all my students to start on an equal footing by providing basic school supplies everyone needs in my classroom.

Providing my students with the necessary school supplies to be successful is a great way to start their fourth-grade experience.

These school supplies will support learning in the classroom. Students will have brand-new items to support their creativity. It will mean the world to my students to begin the school year with these excellent school supplies.
