Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for homework folders, name tags, and headphones. Students are learning responsibility every day, however, often the materials given by the school don't make it past October before having multiple broken or lost. Having better quality materials improves not only their experience at school but their motivation to treat those materials with responsibility.

Students will feel more welcome and supported with ownership of their classroom and materials.

All of these things are items that students will use all year, take home in summer, and probably use in the next grade. Previous classes have had these items and also not had them and all I see is more value in their learning when they have school materials they value. Please consider supporting my students and making my classroom as inviting as possible for my next class.
