Help me give my students new books to read! Most of my books are old, and many are falling apart. I'd love for my children to have more grade appropriate books.

My Project

I have my children read daily in class, because many children do not have access to books or other reading materials at home. I've been teaching for over 25 years and many of my books are falling apart and are geared toward the lower grades. I have taught grades 1 & 2 for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, I gave many of my books as I moved to the lower grades.

The love of reading opens up the minds of the children and allows them to dream the BIG dream of their future!

There is no movie or video that can compete with the imagination of a child and the love of reading.

Please help me ignite the love of reading and continue to keep the fire burning as the grow into loving and voracious readers!
