My Project

Group collaboration is a daily activity in my math classroom. The student table will allow room and agroup areas where group collaboration can take place easily and comfortably. The whiteboards table tops are an added bonus as students will not need to use table space to house a container for holding whiteboards. My students can just pull out a maker, work a problem on their own, and then collaborate with other students in the group to see if their answers are the same or different. If they are different they can all discuss their reasoning for the correct answers and the incorrect answers. Student tables will allow me to walk around and listen to each group and their reasoning for their work as well as to obtain a visual observation on their work at hand.

By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase collaboration as well as team work and, you will ultimately help to increase each student's academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand while having a small group in which to collaborate with to solve daily mathematical problems.
