My Students
My school has a great community of students and parents! It is a wonderful place to work and learn. My students function as a whole group, small groups and as individuals. My students share their materials, their discoveries, and their experiences. My students respect one another and themselves. During structured whole group time in the classroom, my students are able to listen and actively participate in constructive whole group lessons. As my Second Grade students participate and work with each other, they are formulating social skills that will last a lifetime.
My Project
My kids and I enjoy Science and History--mainly because I assign activities that consist of utilizing glue and scissors!
I find that it is easier to gauge my kids' grasp on the material better when the assignments are hands-on.
We have made pyramids, avocado reading booklets, cartouches, Chinese lanterns, Tut masks, and etc.!
After all of that, my inventory of supplies has run out and needs to be replenished.
So, I am asking for two 1-gallon bottles of liquid glue and several packs of card stock; I can refill my bottles using the gallon bottles and the card stock will be used for ALL subject units.
