This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My TK students live in the low-income, mid-city district of Los Angeles. My students come to school every day and we have the highest attendance for a Title I/low-income school with a population of about 700 plus students. My Transitional Kindergarteners are a rambunctious, beautiful bunch of kids with so much life, love and learning to be had. They deserve everything the world has to offer and more! I am so proud of them, every step of the way! They are happy learners with smiles and excitement all day!
My Project
My students have returned to on campus learning. We are so excited to be back on campus! However they need certain materials to help them have a successful learning day.They will use these reusable water bottles to hydrate themselves as the water fountains at our school are not being used due to safety protocols.
These reusable water bottles will be used by my students on a daily basis.
They need to have water available to them whenever they are thirsty as they learn from their desks and get back into their school life routines.
