Great Chefs Need Great Tools!

Help me give my students baking and pastry supplies our culinary labs to help my students have more hands-on learning.

My Project

We need basic equipment and supplies for a new baking and pastry class. My culinary students are learning how to make pasta from scratch as well as baking cookies, pies, and tarts.

The students will need more equipment to have more hands-on learning and less time spent waiting for supplies and equipment.

Sharing one or two pastry wheels with 24 students leaves more waiting for equipment and less time gaining valuable hands-on experience. Funding this project will allow the students to work with dough and pasta when they use the fluted pastry wheels. The students will also learn portion control with the cookie scoops. This allows consistency in the cookies and quick breads that we use the scoopers for.

As you may have guessed, we go through a lot of supplies and ingredients. With over 90 culinary students, we always need more equipment so that all of the students to participate in learning new techniques and skills. Please consider helping my students have the needed supplies to give back to our campus and our community during special occasions.
