Great Chair for Reading! Awesome Composter for Gardening!

Help me give my students a bean bag chair for our reading area and the Composter Schoolyard Gourmet for our garden area. We would love to turn our leftover food into soil for our plants!

My Project

My students will use the bean bag chair as a cozy place to read some good books! My students love to read and would be more relaxed sitting in comfort in the Lakeshore Bean Bag Chair! They can easily wipe the chairs down when finished to keep our classroom tidy.

My students also love to garden and what better way to do so than to make our own soil?

The students eat in the classroom and have plenty that would go in the trash. Instead, they can learn how to create soil from their own leftover foods. My students have a variety of significant disabilities but they are so able to read and garden! They love to settle in with a good book and also they love to get their hands dirty and grow plants when we have our Gardening time. My students are learning to be as independent as possible before finishing their high school careers and transitioning into their adult lives. These products will help the students achieve their goals for themselves to be able to strengthen their reading muscles and create their own soil! Being able to grow their food is the ultimate in independence!
