I have a fantastic group of 2nd graders who come to school each day ready to expand their knowledge and love of learning. When I come to pick them up in the morning, they greet me with giant smiles, wonderful hugs, and lots of love. They absolutely love school. I want to make the time I have with these kids the most fun part of their day. They certainly deserve it.
I care for these kids so much and always want the best for them.
Getting this project funded will allow them to explore their inner scientist though reading various entertaining texts and to deepen their knowledge of all of the topics we are learning about throughout the year. They are always wanting to learn more through reading and this project will give them that chance!
These books will not only help my students, but they will also provide me with better teaching materials to help my students understand what they are learning about! I have added books about volcanoes, earthquakes, habitats, adaptations, space, water, fables, holidays around the world, folktales, character development, and much more!
Books get students more excited about what they are learning about!
Not only will they deepen their knowledge of the subject, but they also provide them with great visuals, which opens their eyes to a world they might not have seen before. Any time I read a book to my students or introduce a new science topic, they always want to reread my book and learn more about the topic. I know that my students will be so excited to have these books and will learn so much more!
