Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We love to reinforce our fourth grade students' positive behavior. This takes extra supplies that we do not have. Our low income school district has been drastically affected by budget cuts. Extras are the first thing cut from a budget and are replaced by money from the teacher's pockets.

My students live in a low income school district, and each year more and more cuts are made to their school, greatly affecting the resources and supplies we have.

We currently have no supplies or funding to keep our positive behavior parties up and running. Your donation will keep our parties going for well over a year! We are counting on donors like you to help them receive the materials they need to have an equal opportunity!

My Project

We need basic supplies to reward our students for great behavior. We need snacks, drinks, and rewards to treat them each month. We throw a simple reward party monthly for our students who have excellent behavior and effort in school. These parties are vital in keeping our students motivated and keeps their effort up. Positive reinforcement is the best kind! These students look forward these parties each month and work so hard to earn them!

These snacks will be accompanied with games, crafts, raffles, and prizes all put together by the 4th grade team!

Our monthly $25 for the parties was taken from us due to budget cuts, so now we are trying to keep the parties going with no funds available. Please help keep this excellent reward for our students! It gives them something to look forward to each and every month!
