This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting five graphing calculators for our high-needs high school. My students are dedicated and hardworking, but they often lack the necessary resources to succeed in their studies. Providing these calculators will empower them to complete their homework independently and better understand the technology essential for their STEM coursework.

The graphing calculators will play a crucial role in our students' academic development.

They will enable students to perform complex calculations, visualize mathematical concepts, and tackle challenging problems with confidence. Having access to these calculators at home will ensure that students can continue their learning outside the classroom, reinforcing their understanding and helping them stay on track with their assignments.

My students possess incredible potential and determination. With the right tools, such as graphing calculators, they will be on equal footing with their peers, allowing them to fully engage with the curriculum and excel in their studies. This support will not only enhance their academic performance but also foster their interest in STEM fields, opening doors to future opportunities.
