Graphing Calculators for Ap Calculus Students

Help me give my students access to graphing calculators for AP Calculus so they can learn how to use the technology in class.

My Project

My students need graphing calculators to be prepared for exams in Pre-Calculus that will prepare them for AP Calculus or college Calculus classes. My goals for students in this course are aligned with the prerequisites for a Calculus course. My instruction leads students to: gain proficiency and accuracy in the necessary algebra skills and to be able to interpret and decide which skills they will need to use. We need graphing calculators so that all students can meet these goals.

The only thing that is lacking here is funding.

I've been using the same set of graphing calculators ever since I have been working in this room, and now the calculators are starting to malfunction and the buttons are being rubbed off! There is no funding to replace this necessary piece of technology and our students do not have the resources to purchase their own. We need this resource so that all students have an opportunity to earn college credit for the course.
