My Project

Our school recently received a book vending machine to reward outstanding student behaviors. We need to keep exciting titles of books available to engage all of our readers at school.

Graphic novels are engaging, especially for reluctant readers, by adding the extra visual supports that kids need to help them through a text.

The combination of text and pictures can be particularly captivating, providing context for stories that kids might not completely understand otherwise.

By allowing students to choose a graphic novel from our book vending machine, we will be increasing student engagement and a love of reading.
