Graphic Novels for the Win!

Help me give my students much loved-graphic novels for our trivia contest prize cart.

My Project

We have a trivia contest with questions that relate to the curriculum, current events, books and authors keep our students learning, reading, writing book reviews and winning prizes. Each week, students can answer two trivia questions to enter the contest. They can also earn five additional entries for completing a shelf talker, a review of a book, posted on the library shelves. At the end of the month, a winner is announced and is awarded a prize of books, candy, puzzles, stuffed animals, earbuds and more.

The trivia contest promotes research, reading and writing for our middle school students.

It was so popular in March that our students have been asking when we'll do it again! These supplies should help us provide prizes for several months next year.

UPDATE: We've added a weekly prize which includes candy and a book from the prize cart. The most requested books are graphic novels, which we do not have.
