The graphic novels I am requesting for my students will be available for all students in PreK-5th grade at the elementary school. These Graphic novel books will continue to enhance the print-rich library that I strive to create for my students.

This format can capture the interest of students who might be reluctant to read traditional books. Graphic novels help develop critical reading skills, such as vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. The combination of images and text aids in understanding and retaining information. Graphic novels are particularly beneficial for struggling readers, as the visual context provided by the illustrations can help students decode and understand complex narratives and vocabulary.
