My Project

Do you love to read graphic novels? Our graphic novels are hardly on the shelves. However, we need graphic novels at low levels for our beginner Kindergarten and 1st graders that are learning to read. They want to read the higher ones, but aren't ready yet. Some of the series I am requesting is the Jack series, Pea, Bea, and Jay, Waffles and Pancake, and more. I am looking for low level ones like these to put on our school's library shelves for them to check out.

Graphic novels makes kids analyze pictures more, thus improving reading skills.

Our students have higher expectations in every subject. Getting these books will help my students reach their Acceleration Reader goals that are set each year school-wide. Reading more books has really helped our students in their reading fluency and reading skills. Thank you!
