We don't need three wishes granted-- we only want one! Students created a wish list of the most wanted titles for our reopened library. We have a lot of work to do growing our collection to have enough exciting choices for independent reading time.
A key part of successful independent reading?
Student choice! Students need books they love that will keep them reading. After an initial three-page wish list was whittled down, these are the most requested titles. Students know we are waiting for a grant to fund our wish list but they have great faith in Donors Choose givers. In fact, they started asking me if it was funded before I even posted the project. :)
