Help me give my students dress-up clothes for dramatic play. Throughout the year we set up the dramatic play center as a house, and simultaneously, a secondary theme is in place. The clothing will enhance their play.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K students are compassionate, good citizens and very warm people. They come to school each day and they try their best. They come from an array of backgrounds and they speak different languages. Their word for love is universal.
I believe that a good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.
With support, I hope to reach for the stars and achieve this goal with elegance and grace. Working in a Title I school with all English Language Learners makes this mission difficult but achievable.
My Project
These colorful materials will help students use their imaginations all year long. They can choose any outfit and undertake whatever role they can imagine. Equal access to all of the materials is provided for students.
The supplies in these dress-up trunks are extremely versatile.
Children may use the pocketbooks and clothing to get dressed to food shop, cook, clean, take care of the baby, have conversation over tea and much more. In addition the materials support our units of study. The children can act out the family and pretend to get dressed up for parties. They can also get dressed up for work, which supports our study about careers.
