My Project

In my classroom, I am embarking on an engaging and immersive project aimed at gifted and talented students from diverse backgrounds. Through a multi-tiered lesson focused on probability and randomness, students will explore concepts vital for understanding statistical claims in the real world. The heart of this project lies in its hands-on approach, where students will delve into activities ranging from analyzing lottery odds to dissecting the probabilities inherent in sports card collecting.

At the core of this project is the opportunity for students to unravel the intricacies of statistics by conducting real-world experiments.

As they delve into activities like opening baseball card packs to test listed probabilities and examining card grading techniques, students will grasp statistical concepts and gain practical skills in measurement and analysis.
