This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a first grade teacher. I teach in a Title 1 public school in the Bronx. I would like to ask for a grammar practice activity kit.
Many of my students are at risk students as well as second language learners. These students learn best when they have visual aids and hands on experiences. This center will give my students the opportunity to actively work and learn grammar basics such as: nouns/verbs, adjectives, and contractions. My students love to be engaged in their work and I know this center will become a favorite during center time.
My students will use this center in small groups. I know this grammar activity center will help to reinforce my students\' grammar usage and mechanics, help develop their vocabulary, and help them in spelling.
I will need the following materials for the grammar center: Grammar Practice Activity Kits, tabletop charts, and a tabletop stand.
