This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students look forward to their graduation rehearsals and performances. During the year they work really hard to finally get to the finish line. Throughout the year we meet in the cafeteria (we do not have an auditorium) for assemblies. During these gatherings, we conduct training and performances. We do not have a portable speaker system or more than two microphones. The PA systems and microphone will facilitate not just the assemblies, but the graduation rehearsal as well. Students need to be motivated and celebrated. Having these resources will enable us to get their attention and for them to perform in front of their peers. This will give them something to look forward to!
