Help me give my students a graduation in an envelope! They aren't able to leave their houses to celebrate, so help me bring the celebration to them!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Koster's classroom raised $183

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach middle school, I have 8th graders and I help them with their high school application process. Almost all of my students are low income and live in cramped apartments with many family members.
Many of them have not left their houses in almost 2 months due to the pandemic, and most of them live in small apartments.
I just want to do something special to brighten their lives in this troubling time. For some of them, this might be the only form of celebration they receive for their accomplishments. They all work so hard and deserve the world.
My Project
These supplies will be used to send to our graduates, they are working so hard from home and have not been able to leave or see their friends for two months. Many of them are beginning to give up hope at the thought of not having anything to look forward to. I teach middle school, I have 8th graders and I help them with their high school application process. This year, they are not getting their spring prom, graduation ceremony, class trip, just like all the rest of the kids graduating.
I want to do something special for them, by sending them cards in the mail congratulating them.
I want to give them hope, a smile, and some encouragement in this hard time. I want to be able to send each of my graduating 8th graders a card containing items so they can celebrate their graduation remotely. I want them all to have something, even if their parents are not able to purchase anything to help them celebrate.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
