This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Freezing Time for Others. In short, its donating our photography skills to others. My students volunteer their time and efforts to those in need. They have taken pictures for football players with their moms, weddings, cap and gown portraits, baptisms, funerals, and even service dogs in need a yearbook photo.

Giving to others.

Now its time for them to receive.

I would like for my students to receive graduation cords for their efforts. We don't do fundraising photos. We make everything special. One of my students did a photoshoot for his sister that is expecting. Another students pictures were used for a person that passed away and was given to the wife of the deceased. S few of them took photography for a dog adoption group and their effectors won first in the state for documentary. These kids are special and I plan for my juniors to place the cords on the Seniors and thus continue the tradition.
