Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my students have made phenomenal academic growth and outstanding personal progress towards becoming capable, confident creators of change.

They have worked hard to push themselves, reflect on their goals and their accomplishments, and find new and creative ways of expressing their ideas and experience.

They embraced the unfamiliar with grace and cultivated lasting relationships with their peers that showcased their powerful collaborative spirit and inspirational depths of their support and understanding for one another. I am so proud of their achievements this year, and I would like to give them the graduation ceremony they deserve as they transition to the next chapter of their journey.

They have created stunning self-portraits that will be mounted along the walls of the space so that their families may witness and admire their work. Materials will be used to help create a welcoming and beautiful ceremony space for students and their families.
