Graduation Boys Need Socks and Ties!

Help me give my students ties and socks for their graduation ceremony in two weeks.

My Project

I have the most amazing male students who work so hard and want to do well. My students are from Black and Hispanic backgrounds and are truly really good kids who want to have a bright future. I see how they go above and beyond from their academics to their sports and all the after school clubs that they are in. They are talented and gifted boys and I am so excited for what the future brings for them. Some of the students in this class are recent immigrants to this country and even though they are recent immigrants, they worked so hard and have overcome so much in such a short time. For many of my students, they are the first in their families to finish a traditional school program.

My students will be moving to another building in September for the remainder of their education and I want to make sure they have everything that they need to feel a sense of pride for what they have done so far in school.

All students deserve to have an amazing graduation ceremony, but for my students who are recent immigrants and from various racial backgrounds, this is an even bigger milestone for them and their families. When my students see how exciting this graduation ceremony is and how proud everyone is of them, I hope this inspires them to continue with their studies and doing well.

My students need matching blue ties and socks for their graduation, so they look like the part of a graduate who has worked as hard as they have. I appreciate all the support I can get to help my students be the best students and kids that they can be.
