My students range in ages from 9 to 13. Many are not fortunate enough to have technology in their homes. They come from hard working families and from countries around the world such as Yemen, Spain, Africa, Honduras, China, and France, just to name a few. Their families live paycheck to paycheck.
Technology, especially iPads and computers, are great learning tools to help bridge the learning gap.
My students will really benefit and they will improve their reading levels if they have access to an iPad, especially those students that are struggling and are in need of extra support. Our supplies will really help especially since we do a lot of buddy work in class. I love to watch my students interact with each other when they work together and these supplies will help their comprehension and confidence. The supplies will motivate my students to work since they won't have to wait for others to finish, they will now be able to work together as a group.
Technology, especially iPads, cameras and computers, are great learning tools to help bridge the learning gap. My students will love taking pictures of their friends especially when we go on field trips and at school prom. My students will be very excited taking turns using their new camera and posing for pictures with their friends. They will get to print and keep the pictures as memories.
My students will benefit from the iPad and camera.
They will improve their reading levels if they have access to an iPad, especially those students that are struggling and are in need of extra support.
