Every morning excited kindergartners greet us with smiles, stories, and hugs! These precious children make up JES kindergarten! They are awesome children that are diverse in backgrounds, interests, academic abilities, social interactions, and behaviors. We are a Title I school that is diverse in ethnic and socioeconomic status as well.
Our students have been working hard all year to prepare for first grade and beyond!
They have grown socially understanding how to be respectful, responsible, and safe citizens of our school and community. They have grown academically by learning how to read, write, and explore many mathematical concepts. They have grown emotionally to develop a growth mindset and know that when a challenge comes along that they will approach it with a "not yet" attitude!!

My Project
Our students have worked so hard all year to prepare for first grade. They are excited about their growth in all areas! They are eager for the next step in life and prepared for the great amount of learning ahead. It is time to graduate Kindergarten and use a years worth of preparation to flourish in life!
We would like to honor these graduates with a formal Kindergarten graduation ceremony.
We would like to provide all of our students with graduation gowns. These will be used this school year as well as many years to come!
