My Project
A school library is more than just a collection of books and resources; it is a safe haven for students to explore, learn, and grow. However, sometimes mistakes happen, and when a student loses a library book, it can create a monetary fine on their library account. For some students, this burden may be difficult to overcome and make right on their own.
To support our fifth-grade students before they move on to middle school, I have initiated a Donors Choose project to replace lost library books with grace and forgiveness.
The goal of this project is to purchase fifteen books that will help relieve fines accumulated from previous school years. By providing these new books, we can help our students let go of the burden of their mistakes and start their next academic journey with a clean slate.
By emphasizing the importance of a school library as a safe and supportive space, we are not only encouraging a love for reading but also fostering a sense of community. Your support and contribution to this project will make a significant impact on our students' lives, allowing them to start fresh and continue their educational journey with confidence and enthusiasm. Together, we can ensure that every student has access to the resources they need to thrive in their academic pursuits.
