I am currently a third grade Social Studies and Science teacher at our elementary school in Washington, D.C. Our scholars are some of the brightest in the city! In Social Studies we learn how local, state, and federal governments work, as well as how we can use the government to be outstanding and productive citizens in our community!
Help our scholars learn how to govern themselves accordingly through reading!
Help support our classroom learning by donating books to our classroom library! All of the requested books are aligned with concepts taught during our Social Studies units. These texts will further support our scholars' understanding of the concepts being taught.

Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
