This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are new artists and we have limited resources. I would love for them to experience more than just croyola markers and water colors. Gouache paints will give my young artists the ability to experience a medium they have never used. I can't wait to see how creative thay can get with these paints. My studetns are a fun bunch of new artists. They have already started with color pencils and crayons and can really use a different paint that is more versatile. I
My goal is for them to have their own color set.
We have limited supplies and have to share colors. Therefore, students sometimes need to wait for colors to become available or wait for a student to finish with a specific color.
