My Students

Our school houses Pre-K and kindergarten students. Our 4, 5 and 6 year old students love learning and are curious, creative and active. They are just beginning their academic careers at our school, and we are building the foundation of their academic success, so keeping them engaged is important.

My students deserve Developmentally appropriate instruction which becomes more challenging as learning standards continue to increase.

My kindergarten students love to dance, imagine, and play. They are meant to move and discover. They have different ways of learning and providing options is necessary.

We are a Title I school, which makes funds and resources limited. I want to be able to provide our students with the best opportunity for academic success.

My Project

Children need to move. Wobble Chairs allow them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. This type of stimulation helps children focus and process information.

Wobble Chairs and Lap Desks keep young minds more alert and focused.

This Increases academic performance and reduces behavior issues by providing for students' developmental needs to move, make choices and have personal space.

With lap desks students can work wherever they feel most inspired! Working on the floor is an ideal solution for students who have difficulty sitting still for prolonged periods of time. They provide personal space for working in whole group on the floor with manipulates. This increases participation and focus.
