My Project

In first grade it is easy for kids to lose focus. What they need is to be able to move around, but this can distract from the lesson. One great way to incorporate movement while also making sure the kids are able to focus on the lesson is by using desk bands.

Desk bands would allow my students to fidget/move while still staying in their seats.

In first grade, kids don't have a super high attention span as it is, so any little extra way for them to move would help. By using these bands, the kids will be able to move their feet while still watching the lesson. I think these could help my students' attention span, thus allowing them to become better readers and mathematicians!
