My Students

My students are so talented in photography and design, but our aging equipment does not let them have the all the tools they need to flourish.

We are a public school, faced with budget cut backs and my program is founded on a shoe-string budget. I would like to give my students the tools for creativity and the ability to create art while capturing the memories of our school.

My Project

These resources will change their lives by being able to capture the best images they can. They will be able to create art to share in a published book as a portfolio for college and possibly meet some of their post secondary educational goals. Photography as an art will lead my students to express themselves and share their talents with their peers and the world.

These items along with some of the other projects, will allow students to create a published book full of award winning images.

Working as part of the yearbook staff my students gain real-life experiences that prepare them for life after high school. This program showcases their talents and gives the confidence they need to take any challenge that may come their way.
