My Students

Help us bring the study of life to life! My students are expected to succeed and excel in the field of biology, and these new classroom materials will help students be engaged and create an interactive learning environment.

My students are a diverse group of learners from a high-poverty, high-risk area of Southern California.

I teach Juniors, so my biology class is a serious course in which they refine skills and explore the world around them. My students love to ask questions and apply what we learn in class to the real world - as such they need a simulating environment.

My Project

Our school is expanding and last year my biology students moved into new portable classrooms. While we are happy in our new home, we need to make the room into a real science class! By providing our class with posters and a skeleton (Mr. Bones!), my students will be able to better understand why biology is important, visualize what we are learning, and make a solid connection to content.

The students at my school have had to "make do" with limited science supplies for years.

These students are exceptionally hard working, curious, and the future. By donating to this project, you will help inspire the next generation of engineers, researchers, doctors, and global citizens.
