This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students learn best through hands-on practice and labs. It also makes science fun! In our human body unit, we test how food molecules interact with our digestive system. Currently, we have to use condiment cups or plastic drinking cups which cannot be reused after the lab. Having glass beakers will allow us to complete these labs and reduce the plastic waste we were creating with over 300 hundred students.
Having these glass beakers will allow students to participate in interesting labs, while decreasing our plastic waste.
Having these beakers will allow us to label pipettes for specific use, decreasing our need for so many during each lab.
