This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been the school yearbook advisor for 20+ years. It's time to revamp our technology! In my annual after school program, consisting of approximately ten 8th grade student volunteers, we create the school yearbook. The yearbook showcases all 1,000+ students at Gray.

What we are missing is the quality and style a MacBook Pro will bring to our yearbook.

We use Chromebooks and our phones to create the yearbook. Most of my students use an iPhone to take pictures. With a MacBook in the room we will be able to AirDrop photos instantly saving so much time. The students will be able to edit pictures and add them to the yearbook layouts like true professionals.
