Do you remember what it was like to want to learn, but lacked the basic tools for success? Many of my students come to school each day without paper, pencils, or pens. They are lacking the basic classroom supplies.
My students are sixth grade students in a rural community.
They are energetic and eager to learn. They are very bright and creative kids. Just like any other students, they have lots of interests, goals, and dreams. My students set high goals for themselves and strive to achieve these goals. They need a basic classroom supplies to have a successful classroom experience.
My Project
We need a variety of pens and pencils, crayons, scissors and glue - basic tools for a successful classroom experience. While some students come to class every day with all the necessary supplies, others come without even the basic supplies. The addition of these classroom tools will allow all of my students to have the needed classroom materials readily at hand in the classroom.
This project will impact my students by allowing every student access to the basic classroom supplies needed for a successful classroom experience.
By having the necessary materials, my students can focus on learning.
