My students need a set of the Goosebumps mystery series to add to their classroom library.

My students are eager to learn and thrive with anything put their way. They enter each day ready to learn! Many of my students do not have the necessary resources, much less the luxuries, that other students may take for granted. They work very hard to be successful in school. However, many struggle socially as well as academically.
I teach at an equity-plus school where the majority of my students come from low socioeconomic families.
One hundred percent of our students receive free lunch. Many of my students do not have the luxuries that other students do. Some come from single-parent families who work very hard just to provide the basic necessities for their children. They love school because school is their safe place. School is where they are loved, where they learn, and also where they receive two meals a day.
My third graders want to learn! They come in every day excited about learning something new. In order to succeed, they must be exposed to the latest technology! I want to help provide them with a rich learning environment where they can soar!
There is nothing more exciting than watching young readers enter the world of books with excitement and such a desire to read! These new chapter books will be a welcome addition to my classroom library. The Goosebump series seems to be a favorite these days!
Providing a new collection of books will appeal to students in a way that will keep them interested in reading and make them want to learn more!
Once students catch the reading bug, they will learn to select books that interest them, which is a lifelong skill that I want my students to have when they leave my classroom. In addition, students will learn the power of words and how much fun reading can be!
Access to these books will help me provide not only reluctant readers but all readers, with a variety of literature. Your generous donation will help my students strengthen their reading skills while loving what they read!
