Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Students are energetic seventh graders that work hard to be successful in class. All my students love technology and they are vivid Googlers. They use Google Classroom each day for reading, writing and interactive activities. My seventh graders have research projects and work on vocabulary.com. Some do not have computers at home. They need Chromebooks to complete Google assignments. My students are going to begin a pen pal project and will be writing and skyping with students in Korea.

My Project

Most of my students have many siblings and one computer. They need laptops to complete assignments on Google Classroom everyday. They have many academic websites and homework assignments that they have to accomplish. .

If my students receive these laptops, they will be able to complete their assignments and they will be able to practice their reading, vocabulary and typing.

My students really do not have the resources to purchase laptops. I have some students that live with single moms and they do not have money to buy laptops. Please help us.
